Community Food Share Corporate Challenge

MWH is a strong supporter of helping out in the community, which is why we have taken part in the Community Food Share Corporate Challenge for the second year in a row. Community Food Share’s Mission is to be a leader in our community’s effort to end hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties, CO. The Corporate Challenge is a friendly competition among a group of local companies to raise dollars and collect food for Community Food Share.

We were proud to be one of the 36 participating companies in this year’s challenge. With a $5,000 personal contribution from executive from MWH and the fundraising efforts done through our three events, MWH and MWH now part of Stantec raised a total of $7,643. Our three events this year were Blue Jeans Day, most needed food items and general donations, and the BBQ lunch fundraiser. The incredible amount of money raised will go directly to those in need right here in our community.

We would like to give a special thanks to Lisa Goff, Linda Gieseman, Rhonda Mushrush, and Nicole McElreath for their help with this year’s Community Food Share Corporate Challenge. We would also like to thank everyone for their generous contributions and participation. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
