MWH Treatment attends United Utilities Apprentice and Graduate Fair
Hundreds of young people filled the Birchwood Business Park in Warrington in search of potential new careers and job opportunities, hoping that something would stand out to them. These events are great for giving people a chance to talk to employers and get a better understanding of the wide variety of different companies and businesses.
MWH Treatment offers a fantastic career path for graduates and apprentices, so we made quite an impression on several of the attendees. The Professional Development Programme (PDvP) is particularly enticing to graduates as it provides a framework to develop to an MWH Treatment standard with mentoring and training along the way. There were also a couple of apprentices on hand to talk about their experiences with the company and provide insight into the apprenticeship scheme.
It was a great chance to help those that may not know what they want to do career wise to find a path they hadn’t realised was there. Some people would never think of entering the world of water and energy, but fairs like these open their eyes to great, potentially unseen job opportunities.
MWH Treatment Regional Business Manager Aidan Spillane said “MWH Treatment attracted a significant amount of interest from school leavers and those in further education. It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm from the attendees and they were an absolute pleasure to talk to”.
MWH Treatment certainly made their presence felt with queues forming at our stand. There were over 100 people passing over their details to try and get involved with the fantastic opportunities on offer. The Apprentice and Graduate Fair was a great success in connecting with the potential next generation of MWH Treatment employees and putting our name out there as a go to company for a thriving career.
