MWH Tyseley Team Shortlisted for Bentley Be Inspired Award

Tyseley Resource Recovery Centre has been shortlisted for a 2015 Bentley Be Inspired Award. A panel of global industry experts has reviewed over 360 nominations from 55 countries and selected Tyseley in the Innovation in Power Generation category.

The awards honor the efforts of Bentley users to advance infrastructure design, construction and operations throughout the world. The finalists will present their innovative projects to engineering, construction and operations leaders from all over the world at the Year in Infrastructure 2015 Conference, which takes place November 3 – 5, 2015 in London. The winners will be announced following the presentations.

Two other MWH Global projects were also shortlisted: the Googong Water Recycling Plant in New South Wales and the Reedy Creek Permeate Treatment Facility in Queensland, Australia. Members of the MWH team in Sydney who submitted the nominations will also represent the company at the London awards.

Ian Miller, MWH operations director, thanked the team for their contributions. “It is a fantastic achievement to be shortlisted for an award that recognises excellence and innovation in the design and construction of leading infrastructure projects around the world. All these projects are inspiring and informative. It makes me proud knowing that our teams at MWH are among the best in the world. Congratulations to Mike Crane and his team for all their hard work in bringing this innovative project to life.”
