MWH Awarded 2019 AGC Construction Safety Excellence Award

MWH is proud to have been awarded 2nd place in the Utility Infrastructure Division Over 400,000 work-hours category at the 2019 Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Construction Safety Excellence Awards!

“It’s amazing to be recognized by the AGC as one of the industry’s elite safety performers. Achieving this level of success validates our management’s commitment to safety at the highest level and shows what an engaged and involved workforce can accomplish. We could have never accomplished this without our employees making safety a core value and upholding that standard both on and off the job,” said Greg Parana, US Safety Director at MWH.

AGC holds the safety awards program every year to recognize the safest contractors in the United States in multiple divisions. Each application is reviewed for company management commitment, active employee participation, safety training, work site hazard identification and control and safety program innovation. 

MWH was recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the AGC National Annual Conference, held on April 3, 2019 at the Colorado Convention Center.
