ROSPA GOLD: Six Times a Winner
MWH will be presented with its sixth consecutive RoSPA Gold award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel, on July 14, an event that also marks the celebration of RoSPA’s diamond anniversary.
The RoSPA Awards is celebrating 60 years of presenting highly-regarded and sought after accolades to businesses and organisations which have shown commitment to accident and ill-health prevention.
Paul Gledhill, managing director, MWH Treatment, expressed his delight with the news. “For MWH to receive its sixth successive Gold award is a great achievement and is well deserved recognition of the positive attitudes everyone in our business continues to have towards health and safety in their working environment.
We are extremely pleased with the continuous improvement we are seeing in respect of health and safety awareness, focus and care. Clearly this will have contributed to our award.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, said: “To win an award at such a highly-regarded event as the RoSPA Awards is a great achievement for our winners. It recognises their commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record and raises the bar for other organisations to aspire to. We offer them our congratulations.
“This year was doubly special for our winners as their achievements were recognised as the RoSPA Awards celebrated its diamond anniversary, which is a ringing endorsement of the thousands of businesses and organisations that have committed to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention.”
RoSPA is a British charity which aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries which occur as a result of accidents. It recognises commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention at work.
