Southern Delivery System Wins AWWA 2015 Public Communications Achievement Award

Congratulations to Colorado Springs Utilities and the Southern Delivery System team for being awarded the 2015 Public Communications Achievement Award presented by the American Water Works Association! The award recognizes utilities and organizations for significant accomplishments in public communication, including educating the public, promoting awareness and understanding of water issues, establishing media relations, implementing community involvement programs, and inspiring others to model behavior with the public that builds trust and credibility. MWH is proud to support Colorado Springs Utilities on the Southern Delivery System program. MWH is the program manager for the $829-million program, a regional project that will bring water from the Arkansas River stored in Pueblo Reservoir to Colorado Springs, Fountain, Security and Pueblo West Metropolitan District.
