Water Quality Challenges in a Southwest Florida Regional System

As regional interconnections among water supply systems increase across Florida in order to meet potable water demands, a greater understanding of water quality issues is needed. In an article published in the August issue of Florida Water Resources Journal, GJ Schers and Gabe Maul of MWH Global discuss a study undertaken by The Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority to characterize regional and local finished water, transmission and distribution water quality in a Southwest Florida regional system.
