MWH actively supports the local communities in which we live and work. We are incredibly fortunate to be part of a team and culture that exemplifies service and giving. We proactively seek volunteer opportunities to serve the communities where we build and work, thereby impacting the local community in ways that go beyond the project.
With the support and resources from our company, our employees have generously poured their time and effort into a myriad of volunteer initiatives including projects for at-risk youth, environmental cleanups, school support drives, food donation drives, blood donations, fundraising, and more. We’re grateful for team members who continuously demonstrate what it means to be citizens driven by compassion to build a better world.

Sustainability is a common thread woven throughout everything we do at MWH. Not only does the nature of our work in water infrastructure support a future of clean water and healthy ecosystems, but we also approach construction mindfully and responsibly, ensuring that we’re doing our part to protect our environment and our communities.
While the discussion of sustainability has only recently become a common topic of discussion in the general population, MWH has consistently built projects with the most cost-effective materials and methodologies that provide the best value over the facility’s lifetime. That is the definition of sustainability. Our global expertise in carbon, energy, water, and waste management empowers MWH to approach construction with a framework that creates innovative and sustainable solutions.
MWH’s approach to sustainability utilizes the tools, knowledge, and training of our Institute of Sustainability Infrastructure (ISI) Envision Sustainability and LEED AP® certified professionals to improve our client’s environmental footprint for years to come.
