The MWH Breckenridge Conference made a strong return this year, bringing together employees from across the company to share innovative ideas and practical solutions in quality, engineering, safety, and technology. With 13 presentations from 20 presenters, the conference demonstrated the depth of talent and expertise within MWH.
A key outcome of the event was the selection of two teams to represent MWH in Obayashi's National Staff Exchange Program. These teams will spend four weeks in Tokyo, Japan, participating in training alongside construction and engineering professionals from around the world.

Operating as the construction-manager-at-risk on this $232 million Pima County project, MWH Constructors enhanced the plant’s capacity from 37.5 MGD to 50 MGD, transforming an outdated facility (built in 1977) into a modern wastewater plant. The upgrade and expansion of the Tres Ríos WRF provided the highest quality effluent, classified as A+ reuse, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, automation, and process controls. This streamlined operational efficiencies and increased water availability for the residents of Pima County, Arizona.
